Cosy country cottage for up to 9 guests

It's a lovely rental property in an amazing location with amazing views front & back. The house is very well looked after & is fully equipped with everything you could need. The house has 4 good sized bedrooms, 2 are huge & there are 2 bathrooms. The village has 2 lovely pubs within a short walk & another couple within half hour walk. We did 2 different walks from the house that were lovely & there were other lovely walks a little further away. It's a 10 to 15 drive into Whitby which is also great. My only criticism is the shower in downstairs bathroom has low pressure but with everything else being so nice you can almost forget that. We stayed with 4 adults & 4 children (10 - 13) & we all loved our stay, would definitely recommend. Naomi is also very helpful with anything you may need.

Completely relaxing place, the front overlooking the river Esk and lots of mature trees. The conservatory is at the rear of the property looks onto fields and again mature trees. Bird feeders on the fencing attracted lots of birds. The house itself is clean and comfortable. We had our 2 grand children and their parents with us making a party of six and there was ample room. Kitchen well equipped. I could easily live there - as long as I don't have to do the cleaning!

Well all I can say is this place is fantastic and well worth the stay. Lovely location and Moles house was superb. It had absolutely everything we needed and more. The heather was stunning and we were spoilt for choice when it came to the number of walks and places to go. Thank you for a lovely time away.

Fantastic week with family, age range 6 to 78. Extremely comfortable and clean. Our second time at Moles House and hopefully not last.

Just back from staying a week at Moles House with the family (8 of us plus dog) A beautiful clean, tidy house, equipped with everything you need ( including all baby cot/highchair etc), really comfy beds and beautifully decorated with themed animal rooms too. So much to do nearby, the best walks, countryside and coastal places to visit. Our own family favourite is Robin Hoods Bay, however, there are beautiful walks and pubs surrounding Moles House too. We would recommend Moles House to all. 

Amazing place, in an amazing place. Near to all the sightseeing areas but the rural feel. Egton Bridge itself has a train station so you can avoid the traffic and parking in Whitby and hop on the train. The house itself is beautifully decorated with all the facilities you could want. Lovely comfy beds, woodburner for those chilly evenings and a fantastic view from the garden overlooking the river. Had a really enjoyable stay and will definitely be back.

We had a long weekend at Moles house and we loved it. It's perfectly located , close to Whitby, Rosedale, Dalby Forest, Pickering and the North Yorkshire Railway. Grosmont is about 1 and a half miles walk away. there are plenty of lovely walks in the area and my husband and son took their mountain bikes over to Rosedale for a the lovely views. I drove over and took them a picnic, then had a lovely walk taking in the stunning scenery. The house was clean and welcoming. Beds were comfy and it was so quiet, The house overlooks the river and we saw fish jumping, the bird feeder in the garden attracted lots of gorgeous little birds and the cows in the field behind wandered past on one of the evenings. There are 3 nice pubs within walking distance and one evening we drove to Whitby for dinner (approx 8 miles away) and had beautiful views of the sun setting over the sea and Whitby Abbey. The kitchen is very well equipped, everything in the house is good quality and high standard. We definitely plan to return.

We had a lovely stay the house has everything you need and more. Great place to stay for walks in the country straight from the door or a short drive and there there are some fantastic beaches. We loved popping over the stepping stone to the pub for a cheeky drink at the end of the day. Thanks for a great stay Naomi.

Just had another lovely stay at Moles House. Our third visit and I can’t wait to go again. The property is perfect for a family stay and the location is stunning. A beautiful part of the world.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moles House. We stayed a few days to celebrate my partner's birthday with friends. We found it very homely as well as spacious, with loads of space for 3 couples. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed, and specially liked the conservatory/breakfast room, which is light and bright... and had a lovely view of the fields behind the property. We ate breakfast in the in the morning, watching the hares and pheasants! Everything was beautifully decorated, with lovely decorative touches. We stayed in the biggest of the bedrooms... which was absolutely lovely! The upstairs bathroom looked brand new and was spotless. The properly is perfectly situated in egton bridge, very nearly the train station... we had a lovely day in Whitby. Cannot fault it! Thank you Moles House. We will visit again soon!

House was lovely, roomy and very well equipped for the eight of us. So many nice touches that made our stay more enjoyable - from themed rooms to flowers on the dining room table. The welcome pack was a nice touch too. Everyone commented on the comfortable beds and the grand children enjoyed the ‘shop’ and various games supplied especially the Lego. The house is in a fabulous location - nice and quiet but in easy reach of lots of picturesque places and beaches. Thank you Naomi for all the thought and effort you have put into making Mole House such a lovely holiday home from home!

We stayed with friends over the Xmas week. The house is fully equipped and we made many happy memories there. Great communication from the owner and a lovely welcome basket. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We didn’t want to leave.

A beautiful house in a lovely area. We stayed there to celebrate my husbands 80th Birthday last weekend.Everything you would need is there. As well as the Christmas decorations the owner also decorated for my husbands birthday so thoughtful. All the rooms are of a very high standard. l highly recommend any one to stay there. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely return.

Such a beautiful house, in a beautiful location, gorgeous kitchen ,full of all essentials ,very spacious ,comfortable beds ,lovely playhouse, which our grandchildren loved ,we were a family of adults and children, lots of Dvds ,we didn't want to leave ,we will definitely be back ,we visited Whitby, Ruswarp ,steam train from Grosmont, to Goathland, Danby ,and Pickering, all absolutely amazing.

3 generations of my family including 3 small children spent a lovely long weekend at Moles House. Every convenience, beautiful house and lots of information about the house and local facilities. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful Family holiday in the Yorkshire Moors based at Moles House. The rooms are very comfortable and homely, perfectly situated above the River Esk, with two friendly pubs in the village (one across stepping stones). It's only 15 mins drive from Whitby and close to excellent walks up and down the Esk Valley. There are superb walks close by from Goathland and Grosmont for the railway. Robin Hoods Bay and Runswick are also very close for more beaches. It's a place we'd go back to.
